1. Scouts will be neatly groomed in either a full Class "A"
(field uniform) or Class "B" (activity) uniform. Class "A" uniform
is required while in transport to and from any scouting activity,
flag ceremonies, all Court of Honor proceedings, all Board of
Reviews and the first troop meeting of each month. Class "A" uniform
will include the following:
a. Boy Scout tan shirt, tucked in at all times.
b. Troop 10 Neckerchief and any slide (Not required on camping
trips).
c. Boy Scout belt.
d. Blue jean pants or shorts (no holes, stains or bleach marks);
Boy Scout pants or shorts.
e. Socks and Shoes (No sandals).
f. Troop 10 Boy Scout cap.
Class "B" uniforms should be worn for any other scouting
activity. Class "B" uniform is any scout T-shirt and shorts or pants
in good condition. Shirt must be tucked in at all times.
2. Scouts will show appropriate respect to other scouts, leaders,
personal property and the outdoors.
3. Scouts shall pay attention and not talk when being addressed
by adult or scout leaders.
4. Scouts shall conduct themselves in a safe and appropriate
manner at all times.
5. No cursing, spitting, name calling, fighting, kicking or
hitting is permitted by anyone at any time.
6. No physical abuse, emotional abuse or abuse of any kind
towards others will be tolerated at any time.
7. No alcohol or illegal drugs or weapons will be permitted at
any time by anyone.
8. No tobacco usage of any kind will be permitted by scouts.
Adults are not permitted to use tobacco in front of Scouts.
9. No personal matches, lighters, or fire starters of any kind
are allowed. These items will be taken up and returned to the
scout's parents.
10. No electronic entertainment equipment is allowed at any
scouting activity.
11. No running or horseplay is allowed indoors.
12. No personal food, snacks or drinks are permitted at any
scouting activity.
13. All scouts shall stay within the Traders Village Recreational
building or adjacent restrooms unless accompanied by at least two
adult leaders to another area. All areas must be left in proper
order before being dismissed.
14. Scouts and their parents shall be held personally liable for
any damage caused by inappropriate activities.
15. Any game or activity must have adult leader approval and two
adult supervisors before proceeding.
16. No scout shall leave camp without his buddy or permission by
an adult leader.
17. Special event rules setup by adult leaders shall be strictly
followed by all scouts.
18. Procedures for Disciplinary Action (major offenses will go
directly to the Disciplinary Committee):
a. First violation - scout is corrected by an adult leader.
b. Second violation - scout is given time out from the current
activity, and the parent will be notified.
c. Third violation - scout is sent home, parent required to
attend the next three meetings and next event.
d. Serious or chronic disruptive behavior - matter will be
forwarded to the Disciplinary Committee for appropriate action and
possible expulsion from the troop.
